Mr. Ballenger served in the Army for three years as a Medevac Medic. Following his honorable discharge in 1982, he pursued a degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Maryland and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in 1987. During his engineering studies, Mr. Ballenger also obtained his private pilot license. In 1987 he began his law studies at the University of Maryland School of Law in Baltimore. He graduated in 1991 with a Juris Doctorate degree.

Mr. Ballenger attended law school at night and worked full-time during the day as a law clerk to one of the leading medical malpractice attorneys in the country. During his clerkship, Mr. Ballenger worked on all aspects of a medical malpractice cases from initial intake to assisting at numerous trials. He also wrote numerous appellate briefs that resulted in several published appellate opinions.

After being admitted to the Maryland Bar in 1991, Mr. Ballenger started his own law practice and concentrated in medical malpractice and serious personal injury. In his first jury trial as a lawyer, Mr. Ballenger obtained a 1.5 Million Dollar verdict against an orthopedic surgeon.

Since that time Mr. Ballenger has obtained numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements on behalf of victims of medical malpractice and other types of negligence.

Mr. Ballenger has agreed to accept numerous cases that had been rejected by other attorneys – often resulting in significant settlements and verdicts. Recently, he agreed to accept a case that had been rejected by seven other attorneys and obtained a $500,000 settlement on behalf of a bicyclist who was hit by a car and suffered a fractured shoulder requiring a partial shoulder replacement.

Mr. Ballenger has also obtained several published appellate opinions in both Federal and State appeals courts that were cases of first impression.

Mr. Ballenger was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 1991 and is licensed to practice law in both Maryland state courts and Maryland Federal courts and the Fourth Circuit.

As a lifelong motorcyclist, including a solo cross country trip, Mr. Ballenger is also very knowledgeable in negligence involving motorcycle accidents.

Mr. Roche graduated from the University of Delaware with honors and double majored in Political Science and History. After college, Mr. Roche attended University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law where he served as an Articles Editor for the University of Maryland Journal of Business and Technology Law, worked as a research assistant, and clerked for a reputable Baltimore litigation firm.

During law school Mr. Roche gained litigation experience by participating in, and later helping to supervise, the University of Maryland Consumer Protection Clinic. While going to court as a Rule 16 attorney, Mr. Roche learned how a good lawyer can decisively change the outcome for a client – even in situations where the game appears rigged against the individual.

After graduating University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law cum laude in 2012, Mr. Roche began his career with a reputable regional defense firm. There he worked as a defense attorney for other professionals and was frequently the lawyer’s lawyer. Defending numerous legal malpractice and grievance matters underlined the importance of ethics in the practice of law.

Mr. Roche next worked at a Baltimore based plaintiff’s civil litigation firm from 2013-2019. Mr. Roche quickly assumed an active leadership role within that firm’s burgeoning civil litigation and personal injury practice before ultimately departing to open Ballenger & Roche.

Mr. Roche uses the civil justice system to obtain monetary relief for individuals who are seriously injured or victimized. Allan Rabineau has been practicing law for 52 years. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland in 1963 and subsequently attended law school at the University of Maryland School of Law and obtained his Juris Doctorate in 1967. From 1965 to 1967 he was a Law Clerk for The Honorable Shirley B. Watts in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. He was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 1967 and the District of Columbia Bar in 1987. He is licensed to practice law in all Maryland Courts and the Federal Courts in Maryland. He is also licensed to practice law in Washington, D.C. Mr. Rabineau is also admitted to practice before The United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Rabineau has practiced in many areas of law during his legal career. Mr. Rabineau has obtained numerous million dollar and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. Currently, Mr. Rabineau concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury, police brutality and worker’s compensation. Aarron N. Johnson graduated from Georgia State University in January 2007 with a B.A. in Political Science. Prior to graduating from Georgia State University, Mr. Johnson worked as a supervisor at FedEx Ground until 2010. Mr. Johnson continued his career in logistics at CEVA until the fall of 2012.

Mr. Johnson moved to Baltimore, Maryland in the fall of 2012 to attend law school at the University of Baltimore. While attending the University of Baltimore, Mr. Johnson worked at a boutique civil litigation firm specializing in personal injury, medical malpractice, and other complex civil litigation.

Upon his admission to the Maryland Bar in 2016, Mr. Johnson used the skills and knowledge that he learned during his time as a law clerk to represent Marylanders for their personal injury and workers’ compensation claims, as well as other civil matters.
